Front row support for Rugby World Cup 2011
80 Minute Game Team gets front row support for Rugby World Cup 2011
Ex-all Black Bull Allen has taken on a new role as captain of the 80 Minute Game team – helping the home rental company spread its message<<...>> <<...>> <<...>> <<...>> that there will be plenty of accommodation available in New Zealand at sensible prices during Rugby World Cup 2011.
Bull said alternative accommodation options were essential for the success of the tournament, and that 80 Minute Game has impressed him with the way they do business. “I know that they personally inspect all the houses they list and every detail is thought through. They go the whole nine yards to make sure nothing is left to chance. I think if I was an overseas tourist coming here for the games I’d want to know that I was getting the best. I reckon rugby fans will love staying in a real kiwi home and enjoying the lifestyle and hospitality.” Bull said he was looking forward to the event and to seeing New Zealand embrace the opportunity. “Gee whizz time goes by fast. I am pleased to see 80 Minute Game getting ready well ahead of the event because I am sure a lot of people will leave it too late. It’s going to be the opportunity of a life time and great to see people getting behind it.”
So far the company has exceeded its own expectations with the number of homes it has on its books and the level of international enquiries from fans looking for accommodation. “We are well positioned now to market these homes to the world,” said Sue Robinson, 80 Minute Game’s Managing Director. Sue said that the company’s brand is built on trust, reliability, personal service and the kiwi lifestyle being offered to guests.
“We have lots of little extras for our clients that they won’t get elsewhere, and having Bull on board means we’ll be looking at offering celebrity hosted functions for VIP clients alongside our standard services. The response from our home owners to our latest initiative with Bull, which includes a promotional video starring the man himself, has been great. They are delighted to know that we are investing heavily in international marketing to make sure they get the best bookings they can for the tournament.”
