Responding to the
Auckland High Court decision today dismissing the
application by UBNZ Assets Holdings Ltd for a declaration
that they do not require consent under Overseas Investment
Act, Natural Dairy says its plans for dairy acquisitions in
New Zealand are unchanged.
The court’s decision does not affect the companies’ plans to acquire dairy assets in New Zealand and it will be lodging the relevant OIO applications as intended.
Natural Dairy (NZ) Holdings Ltd sees no reason to comment further on the court’s decision.
