TIG joins Crime Prevention Partnership Forum

TIG joins Crime Prevention Partnership Forum

The Telecommunications Industry Group (TIG) has joined the ranks of businesses signing up to form the Crime Prevention Partnership Forum (CPPF) with NZ Police.

TIG CEO, Rob Spray says: We represent the major telecommunications companies in New Zealand all of whom are keen to collaborate with other organisations in New Zealand to detect and prevent crime. As the industry that connects all of New Zealand; whether for social or business purposes we share a responsibility to assist the Police in delivering the free, just and safe society that New Zealand deserves.

The CPPF is a high level partnership between selected industry groups, organisations and the NZ Police that aims to facilitate collaboration across business sectors in sharing information and developing new crime prevention initiatives.

The members of CPPF include Bankers Association, Institute of Professional Investigators, the NZ Security Association, Taxi Federation, Insurance Council of NZ, American Society for Industrial Security International, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Motel Association of NZ and the Telecommunications Industry Group.
