Vodafone & The NZRL Keeping The Lines Of Communication Open
Auckland, New Zealand June 24, 2010 –
NZRL CEO Jim Doyle confirmed today that Vodafone have agreed
to become the Telecommunications sponsor for the New Zealand
Rugby League.
“With new staff in the regions, and the
importance of quality communications within any modern
organisation, we are very pleased to have agreed to a long
term partnership with Vodafone” said Doyle.
“Communications is a significant cost to any organisation, and this sponsorship arrangement will allow us to maintain quality communications without having to take from any other area of our budget.”
Russell Stanners, CEO of Vodafone said “Vodafone is proud of its long involvement with rugby league in New Zealand. This is an opportunity to support further growth and to provide help at the grassroots level, which is of course where all international success comes from.”
In conclusion Doyle said, “We are very grateful to all our sponsors and partners who by providing us with critical services are enabling us to keep building the game. This is a very positive development for rugby league in New Zealand.”
