Unique programme develops professional experts
Unique programme develops professional experts who write
and speak

An ambitious project featuring
20 top specialists from both Australia and New Zealand gets
underway this month. Maruki Books (NZ) who specialise in
developing professional experts and authors to become
published authorities and speakers, has gathered together
top names such as Terry Hawkins, Keith Abraham, Gihan Perera
and Ann Andrews, along with 14 others from Australia and NZ
who are each contributing to a new book of inspiration and
ideas for business owners, managers and entrepreneurs.
Subjects such as how the internet is changing the face of marketing, getting teams to work more productively together, and the richness of diversity in business are just a few of the many areas covered in this book. Many of the authors are already top business writers, workshop and keynote presenters from both sides of the Tasman, who recognise that many entrepreneurs and managers simply don™t have the time to go through a lot of training and development but still need to keep fresh and updated with trends and opportunities for growth.
A unique aspect to this collaboration project is the way the authors themselves are being coached through the complex issues of publishing and the business of professional presenting as the book comes together.
Project manager Maria Carlton says, “There are many authors who would love to also speak comfortably and professionally about their particular areas of expertise, and just as many professional speakers who would like to write and sell their books successfully; up until now these two commercial sides of being a professional expert have often been fraught with myster and expensive learning curves, and many have shied away from fully exposing themselves and their valued knowledge to the full extent of their potential. At Maruki books we specialise in developing professional experts to both publish and speak successfully. This book is a great way to not only bring a high level of business idas into one publication, but also to help those who are part of it to develop their own professional competencies. This type of programme has not been offered within NZ or Australia before now.
We searched for a number of high quality professional presenters and/or business writers who wanted to up-skill in each of these areas, and were delighted to discover such a diverse range of topics which could be contributed into a unique business book.
