Lockwood Crowns West Coast Company in Awards

Lockwood Crowns West Coast Company as Franchisee of the Year

West Coast Lockwood franchise, AJ Mooney Company Ltd, scooped three awards at the annual Lockwood conference including the prestigious Franchisee of the Year award.

It was a hat trick for brothers Craig and Greg Mooney from Greymouth, owners of the West Coast Lockwood franchise, when they were awarded Sales Champions of the Year for the Initial home product, winners of the Best Brand Promotion award for their clever Toyota Prius competition and finally the supreme accolade of being Lockwood’s Franchisee of the Year 2009/2010.

Lockwood Marketing Manager, Melanie Short, said; “Craig and Greg, our West Coast franchisees, have created a great team culture and a slick building operation. They have built a great reputation in the West Coast region for not only delivering outstanding homes but for also coming up with innovative ways to promote their Lockwood business. They optimise their profile through being heavily involved in their local community right through to branding their vehicles. Their dedication and passion to their business is testament to them winning the Franchise of the Year award.”

Coromandel based husband and wife team, Kevin and Melissa Evans, won the award for Best Show Home with their newly completed stunning curved Fantail design.

Andrew La Grouw and partner Sophia Burton from Nelson won the award as Sales Champions for the popular Lockwood Classic design.

The Lockwood awards were presented at the Company’s annual conference gala dinner. The two-day conference included prominent guest speakers Warren Powell, Director of Hell Pizza and Rob Parry, McDonalds owner and winner of the prestigious Golden arches who shared their insights into producing successful franchise businesses.
