UnisonFibre Business Expo: biggest business event

UnisonFibre Business Expo: biggest business event yet

The Hawke's Bay Chamber of Commerce is hosting the largest event for business in Hawke’s Bay featuring leading international business brands through to local service providers.

On September 8th and 9th, the National Tobacco Factory (former Rothmans building in Ahuriri) will be buzzing with business people.

“More than 80 different companies are showcasing their products and services, three times bigger than last year,” says Chamber CEO Murray Douglas. ‘In addition to the exhibits, a seminar programme will cover a wide range of topics, all business related, from the impact of the GST change to 4 ways of getting paid to the latest on technology’.

“I am very pleased that the Minister for Small Business Maurice Williamson is coming” said Mr Douglas. “This is the perfect opportunity for business people to hear any plans straight from the minister and to provide feedback about what we need here in the Bay”.

The two day event also features a range of local and national business speakers. Cameron Bagrie, ANZ National Bank chief economist is the first speaker on Wednesday September 8 at 10am.

The Expo will be held on September 8 + 9 in the National Tobacco Building, Ahuriri, Napier, from 10am till 6pm. Entry is free.
