Ecoya directors confirm growth plans on track
Growth plans for home fragrance, body and bath company Ecoya Limited (NZX:ECO) are on track the company’s very first AGM has been told today (August 9, 2010).
The Ecoya board has provided an update on the growth of the business that confirms it is performing as expected.
While the latest published results are for the year ended 31 March 2010, the meeting has been told that dollar sales in the period to July 31 are more than double the same period last year.
Ecoya has also just released its new packaging format which has been well received and the number of stores stocking Ecoya products throughout Australia and New Zealand continues to grow.
The brand is now also underway in the U.S. with the first clients in Los Angeles secured. They include the Kitson store in Beverley Hills, a renowned venue for celebrity spotting.
In Asia, Ecoya is now in both Shanghai and Hong Kong where the brand has recently been listed with the high profile department store Lane Crawford.
Executive Chairman Geoff Ross also says the company is launching additional bath and body products in September this year. These give the brand greater presence in the bath and body sector he says.
