Please note Steve Bonnici will be keynote speaker in Christchurch – not Ross Hunter – see my amended release below.
Cantabrians learn how not to stuff up
While politicians might have the occasional stuff up, business people rarely admit to them. However, a number of business leaders will discuss their own business stuff-ups at the Bizzone Business Expo on in Christchurch from 11-13 August. It is New Zealand’s largest event for business, with more than 12,000 attendees and more than 300 quality exhibitors at the three New Zealand venues.
Keynote speaker Steve Bonnici – owner of Urgent Couriers – features in the 20 minute StuffUp™ documentary presented by WHK at the Bizzone Business Expo. He will be speaking at the Bizzone Business Expo at 1pm on Friday, 13 August. “It’s a must-see for business owners who want to grow their business,” says Sarah Trotman, managing director of Bizzone. She features in the documentary along with the Prime Minister John Key and seven New Zealand business leaders.
Other keynote speakers are Mayor Bob Parker and Sarah Gibbs, Managing director Trilogy, who are both speaking on opening day 11 August (1pm and 1.30pm respectively).
“The Bizzone Business Expo is all about helping people to grow their business – and this includes learning from mistakes,” Trotman says. “As well as the StuffUp Room there is the National Bank Seminar Series with 40 free seminars on practical topics, free business mentoring and of course the latest business products and services on display. It is the country’s largest business marketplace so it’s a great opportunity for business owners to network and discover new products.”
The Bizzone Business Expo will be at Wellington’s TSB Bank Arena and is sponsored by Newstalk ZB, Media 5, WHK, The National Bank and The Press. To get tickets for the expo or book for The National Bank Seminar Series go to www.bizzone.com or there are door sales.
