House of Travel Wins at
NetGuide Web Awards for the Fifth Time
For the fifth consecutive year, New Zealand’s leading travel company House of Travel, has won the People’s Choice award for Best Travel Site at the latest NetGuide Web Awards, held last night in Auckland.
House of Travel’s entry – which encompassed houseoftravel.co.nz and the newly launched mixandmatch.co.nz – has succeeded in defeating Air New Zealand and Book a Bach, to remain unchallenged in its position as Kiwis most preferred travel website. House of Travel E-Commerce Director, Lindsay Cowley, says the House of Travel team is ecstatic to have retained their title, and credits their continued success to the freedom of choice House of Travel offers their customers.
“Our websites offer Kiwis unparalleled flexibility. This award is recognition from our customers that our sites are user-friendly, and clearly meet the needs of travellers who want to be able to view all airlines on one website, at one time,” he says. More than 200,000 votes were cast in this year’s NetGuide Web Awards, making them the largest to date. NetGuide Web Award organisers say this increased interest demonstrates the importance of websites to New Zealand consumers.
