Untouched World wins a prestigious design award

Untouched World wins a prestigious international iF design award
Thursday 20 August 2010

Untouched World has won a prestigious international iF design award for its merino based cycle clothing range launched late last year.

The Untouched World cycle collection will be on display in the winner’s area at the Eurobike exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany, the largest bike exhibition in the World, between September 1 and 4.

“It’s just a fantastic result, and is recognition of all the hard work we have put into the cycle range,” CEO of Untouched World Peri Drysdale said.

“It means the Untouched World cycle clothing will carry the iF logo which is trusted worldwide as a sign of proven design quality.”

Since their introduction in 1953, the iF design awards have been a reliable international indicator of outstanding quality in design, and for potential customers the iF logo is a guideline for finding the best products in the marketplace.

“Having the iF logo on our garments and promotional material will be a huge bonus for the growth of our market development internationally,” she said.

Since its launch late last year the Untouched World cycle collection has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from riders at all levels, from professional team riders to Olympic competitors through to long distance recreational riders.

The Untouched World is experiencing strong growth in New Zealand and internationally, and with their new look spring summer fashion range being rolled out over the next two months Drysdale said things were looking very positive.

Drysdale will receive the iF award in person at a ceremony in Germany on September 1st.
