New Partnership Will Help Boost Domestic Tourism
The new partnership between Air New Zealand and Fly Buys announced today will provide a welcome boost for domestic tourism, the Tourism Industry Association New Zealand (TIA) says.
“We expect to see many people taking advantage of both loyalty programmes to fly around New Zealand, and experience for themselves the incredible visitor activities and attractions we have available,” TIA Chief Executive Tim Cossar says.
“This will have a really positive effect on our regional destinations. There are 2.3 million active members in the Fly Buys programme, so that means more than half of the New Zealand population will be able to access the improved flights offering as well as collecting Fly Buys points when they buy selected flights.”
This will be welcome news to the visitor industry as many emerge from a challenging winter season, Mr Cossar says.
