NZ Global Women forum announced

An array of New Zealand’s most dynamic and successful business women will share their experiences at a public forum in Auckland on September 7. New Zealand Global Women, the country’s leading network of business women, is bringing together the impressive line up of innovators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. The speakers include 42 Below Vodka co-founder Justine Troy; Pip Marlow who is the Director Public Sector and Enterprise Sales, Microsoft Australia and responsible for more than $1 billion revenue; educational publisher Wendy Pye who built a $100 million business in the United States; Rowena Roberts the face of MAC and Jo Malone in New Zealand; Genesis Energy Chair Dame Jenny Shipley; the Managing Director of IBM New Zealand Jennifer Moxon and Kim Crawford wine co-founder Erica Crawford.

Networking is built into the day, as are more intimate breakout sessions with speakers including Trilogy Skincare creator Sarah Gibbs; philanthropist Rosie Horton who has raised $65 million for charity; filmmaker Gaylene Preston; Federation of Maori Authority Chair Traci Houpapa and State Executive General Manager Mary-Jane Daly.

The theme of the forum is Innovation: Crossing the Global Chasm and it offers business women from the public, private and not-for-profit sectors an unrivalled opportunity to hear from, and network with, some of the country’s top business minds.

Crossing the Global Chasm follows Global Women’s highly successful inaugural forum Thinking Globally and continues the work of building networks and connections to create an effective core community of New Zealand business women operating here and offshore.
