YoungGuns Network of the Decade Award for BBDO

YoungGuns Network of the Decade Award for BBDO Network

Colenso BBDO leads the charge as the only agency to win twice

BBDO has been named the YoungGuns Network of the Decade by YoungGuns International which recognises the hottest creative talent under 30 years (as measured by awards won).

The awards organisers make special mention of Colenso BBDO as the only agency to have been named YoungGuns Agency of the Year twice (2001 & 2008) in addition to the network being named YoungGuns Network of the Year three times (2001, 2004 & 2008) over the last decade since the awards were founded.

Executive Creative Director Nick Worthington says he is really proud of his team, “It's always great to see our young talent recognised on an international stage, but it's even better to see how well New Zealand does against the best countries in the world. We've always been told New Zealand punches above its weight, but it's nice to have a bit of proof.”

Kristian Barnes, Co-Founder, YGAward congratulates the network and the agency on the result: “The YoungGuns Award is unique as it focuses only on young and emerging talent, the creative leaders and influencers of tomorrow. BBDO has, over YoungGuns 1st decade, clearly demonstrated that it consistently incubated some of the best young talent globally. This award is significant in that it recognizes the investment BBDO has placed in nurturing young talent.

“The creativity and young talent within the network speaks for itself, as BBDO has been named the YoungGuns Network of the Year three times and Colenso BBDO has been named YoungGuns Agency of the Year twice. In fact, the only agency to be awarded twice. BBDO has also been awarded more Gold Bullets than any other network,” says Barnes.
