Snap Wins Top ISP Award For Second
Year In A Row
Snap Internet has won the TUANZ Internet Service Provider of the Year Award for the second year in succession.
The Christchurch firm was voted the best ISP by telecommunication users’ association members out of 14 finalists in this year’s national awards.
Snap chief executive Jamie Cairns said the accolade recognised the value of high service standards for internet users, something the company ranked as a top priority.
“Customer expectations are increasing rapidly as data volumes expand and speeds continue to rise for private and business users,” he said.
“Much of our recent growth has been built on delivering reliable and personalised service to all our customers at affordable rates.
“It is no surprise that these are the qualities internet users rate most highly.”
To date this year Snap has consolidated its position as the South Island’s biggest independent ISP, taking over the businesses of Tasman Solutions in Nelson and EzNet in Hamilton.
“As well as the acquisitions we have grown our customer base organically throughout the country, particularly for businesses reliant on internet trading and data exchange,” Jamie said.
“This award is gratifying, but we are not standing still. We plan to exceed expectations even further in the coming year with new customer initiatives designed to raise the bar even more.”
