Tangible Media Acquires NZ Weddings Magazine

Tangible Media, New Zealand’s leading publisher of specialist magazines, today announces its acquisition of the quarterly publication NZ Weddings from Pacific Magazines NZ.

This purchase follows the recent announcement of a license deal between APN News & Media and Pacific Magazines New Zealand for Pacific’s mass market titles.
Tangible consumer publisher, John Baker, says “The acquisition of NZ Weddings is a great result for Tangible as we continue our dynamic growth and investment in publishing and media. NZ Weddings fits perfectly into our stable of titles and alongside Dish and Good gives Tangible a stronger presence in the women’s interest space.

“We see growth opportunities both in print and online that will further connect the brand with the audience.”

Long-term editor Melissa Gardi and advertising manager Hannah Armstrong will be joining Tangible as part of the deal.

“I've had the privilege of collaborating with an extraordinary team over the past few years at Pacific, and look forward to joining the dynamic Tangible stable.” says Gardi. “Tangible's creativity and dedication will be fantastic for NZ Weddings – an exciting new chapter of growth. I'm absolutely thrilled”.

Georgina Brujic, MD, Pacific Magazines New Zealand, comments, “We are delighted that NZ Weddings will benefit from the strategic fit with Tangible Media’s existing portfolio and the long-term growth opportunities the publisher offers.”
Tangible Media’s other titles include Dish, Good, NZ Rugby World, NZ Fishing World, NZ Marketing, Idealog, Classic Driver, NZ Today, Real Groove, The Groove Guide and a range of customer titles.
