InterCity Coachlines introduces POLi™

InterCity Coachlines introduces POLi™ Internet Banking payments

More than 1 million InterCity Coachlines customers can now pay online using Internet Banking and POLi™.

POLi™ is a convenient and secure way to pay for goods and services online using your own funds. So if you don’t have a credit card or would prefer not to use one online POLi™ is the way to go.

POLi™ takes the guess work out of Internet Banking by making sure the customer pays the right amount of money to the right bank account, and provides the customer and the merchant with an instant payment notification.

InterCity Coachlines provides New Zealand's largest coach transportation network connecting to more than 600 destinations nationwide.

InterCity launched POLi™ on their website in September and according to InterCity’s General Manager Marketing & Online Sales, Daniel Rode, POLi™ has been an instant success and is proving to be very popular with the travelling public.

“The results were instantaneous with our online customers choosing to use POLi™ over our standard credit card option within the first few minutes of the system going live. We expect the POLi™ online banking option to account for a significant number of online transactions over the coming year.”

If you’d like to use POLi™ to pay for your InterCity coach fare visit www.intercity.co.nz and use the internet booking system to select your fares, then choose Internet Banking (Pay with POLi™) on the Payment Details screen.

InterCity joins a growing list of online merchants offering POLi™ such as Air New Zealand, NZ Transport Agency, Bunnings Warehouse, AUT University, BookMyShow, Dealaday and many more.
