Experts get behind local businesses
Experts get behind local businesses
Nature Coast Enterprise’s new bite sized business training courses are seeing positive results for many local businesses.
“Einstein’s quote that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, really applies in the business world,” says Lorraine Hoggard, Nature Coast Enterprise’s Business Development Manager.
“Many businesses are realising that in order to succeed, they must do something different, and continue to up skill and learn from those around them.”
NCE’s training programmes are presented by local experts, proving that another business cliché – surround yourself with people who know more than you – has merit.
“We’ve chosen experts, mostly from local businesses, to help businesses refocus, up skill, and get real about how their business is going,” says Mrs Hoggard.
Local business expert Debbie Taylor is presenting the 12 November course, Updating your Business Plan. She says a business is only as good as what the owners know today. “What most business owners don’t realise is their real competitive advantage lies in the quality of their own business intelligence.”
Comments from Course attendees
Business Planning course: “Helped immensely to get into a more focused and specific head space so I can nut out what my next steps are. Invaluable learning.”
Web based Course: “Fantastic very useful, now understand how to manage my website…..”
Financial Analysis course: Excellent can now understand my accounts”
“We know this is what local businesses want and need, because they told us that in our research,” says Mrs Hoggard. “Now they need to go that extra step and realise that they have to commit to the investment of training.
