Renaissance continues to strengthen its vendor distribution line-up with the addition of Micronet

Auckland, 29 October 2010

Renaissance (NZX: RNS) has secured exclusive New Zealand distribution rights to the Micronet premium product ranges.

“The Renaissance Group is focused on enabling creativity in the digital economy in New Zealand, and we are pleased to further strengthen our commitment to the market by partnering with Micronet, a leading networking solution provider,” says Chris Knox, General Manager – Branded Products, Renaissance Group.

“Micronet is a well-established networking brand distributed through more than 60 countries globally and we are excited to bring these quality products to New Zealand.”

Micronet products will be available in New Zealand from 15/11/2010 and will provide customers with access to a wide and deep range of products that are priced competitively at rates that are on average 20-40% lower than comparable products.

“We provide customers with the most up-to-date technologies and quality services in order to help make communication easier,” says William Fann, CEO of Micronet Communications Inc. “We see a great fit between our business and Renaissance’s distribution network and industry relationships, and we are pleased that we can work together in the New Zealand market.”

For the Reseller and Retail channels, Micronet products will provide networking technology that will help home and business users connect multimedia devices and stream content.

Renaissance will be able to offer Micronet’s full range of network infrastructure products, for home and SOHO users all the way up to solutions for enterprise customers including Wireless, IP surveillance, VoIP and IPBX products.
