Living Nature welcomes new majority investor

Press Release for immediate release November 2 2010

Living Nature welcomes new majority investor

New Image the publicly listed Health and Wellness exporter (NZX: NEW) has acquired a 50.01% stake in Living Nature Natural Products Limited.

Living Nature has been operating for over twenty years and is one of the world’s first 100% natural brands of skincare and its products have won many international awards.

Living Nature CEO, John O’Toole is excited by New Image’s investment and involvement in the company, as it brings with it strong contacts in many export markets, particularly in the important Asian markets which is New Image’s area of strength.

Living Nature will continue to operate as a stand alone business focussed on its traditional retail and beauty channels. Living Nature already operates in over ten countries and has strong growth plans in place, having just started distribution in the important US market. Living Nature products will not be sold through New Image’s direct selling channels.

Living Nature has an impressive manufacturing facility based in Kerikeri and will start producing a number of products for New Image starting with it’s existing Colostrum based skincare Bio-Rejuv.

“New Image and Living Nature are great export orientated New Zealand consumer branded companies and the combination of the two, offers exciting potential for the future.” Mr O’Toole said.
