Vero is Insurer of the Year for second consecutive year
For the second year in a row, Vero has been voted Insurer of the Year by members of the Insurance Broker Association of New Zealand (IBANZ).
This is the sixth time that New Zealand brokers have bestowed this prestigious award on Vero (previously awarded in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2009).
“This Award is an immense tribute to every member of the Vero family - without their passion and commitment Vero would not be the great company that it is today. This has been evident in the way my colleagues have handled the Canterbury earthquake, their compassion for those affected and the concern and consideration for others is what defines every one of us at Vero,” said Roger Bell, Chief Executive of Vero New Zealand.
The award is based on the quality of performance, delivery of service and value proposition displayed by an insurance company and the key factors considered were the quality of products, claims and service performance, processes and documentation, underwriting and claims philosophy.
“The broker community is an essential partner for us and their vote of confidence by choosing us as the Insurer of the Year in the Annual Broker Survey is a clear indication of our mutual commitment to excellence within the industry,” said Mr Bell.
The Awards were presented at a black tie gala dinner, held at the Sky City Convention Centre last night.
