New Innovation & Technology Role at New Zealand Post
New Zealand Post Group has appointed current MetService CEO Paul Reid to a newly created position to focus on innovation and technology development.
Mr Reid, who has headed up MetService Limited for the past four years will begin in the role of Group General Manager, Innovation and Technology in March next year.
New Zealand Post Group CEO Brian Roche said the new position is to help put technology at the centre of the company’s strategy to be more customer focussed and to provide improved, relevant products and services for New Zealanders.
“Paul Reid is an innovation and solutions expert who understands the importance of technology and being able to fully utilise it in a commercial arena.
“Paul has helped MetService turn good science into good business. He will bring to New Zealand Post the expertise to drive and oversee the development of innovation and technology strategies across the Group,” Mr Roche said.
Mr Reid’s appointment follows the announcements in November of the appointment of Airways Corporation Ltd CEO Ashley Smout to head up the new Operations Division and Gary Woodham to lead the Customer Solutions & Services Division.
