Driving – a full time job
Driving – a full time job
2degrees is reminding all New Zealanders heading out onto the roads this summer that driving is a full time job.
Director of Corporate Affairs Mathew Bolland says the approach of Christmas brings with it the increased likelihood of accidents on our roads, with even more ways for drivers to be distracted.
“We’ve spent a lot of time in the past year making it easier and cheaper for people to use their mobile, highlighting how easy it is to browse the web and use social media wherever you are,” he says.
“Tomorrow morning a lot of Kiwis will unwrap a new phone. We hope they’ll use it over the holidays, but ask that they think very carefully before they use it in their cars. Don’t be distracted while you drive.”
