Press Release 14 January 2011
GLM Group launches free Jobs Board, Business Directory and Product Listings.
The Global Logistics Media (GLM) Group invites companies involved with the logistics and supply chain industries to upload their Business Listings, Job Vacancies and Products.
This free service extends across the full portfolio of GLM websites and targets the major economies of the world including, Americas, UK, Asia, India, UAE and Australasia.
CEO Nigel Lewis says “we are very happy to offer this service, for us it’s about increasing the visibility of our community members by proving an avenue where they can showcase their products, business or any vacancies.”
GLM has further plans to extend its online offering by integrating Twitter throughout the Group. Syndicating Twitter feeds from its followers and displaying them on the Home Pages further increases the visibility of the community.
Mr. Lewis also explains that members will have the option of creating their own Blog within the Group, which they can link to their business listing, products or any jobs vacancies. Latest Blog Posts will also be visible on the Home Pages of the GLM websites.
“Community engagement and participation is a critical part of our vision, we understand that those associated with the Logistics Industry are becoming increasingly tech savvy and utilizing social media and citizen journalism is becoming standard business practice. We hope to further integrate Web 2.0 functionality and enhance our online service offering throughout 2011” says Mr. Lewis.
