NEW for 2011 – PMINZ Public Sector Project of the Year, Sponsored by IPANZ

Nominations must be received by 5pm, Friday 29 April 2011.

“We were delighted and humbled to receive the award for Project of the Year. It was an unexpected surprise for the team at Customs.” said Peter Rosewarne, Group Manager Information Services, New Zealand Customs Service, whose SmartGate project came in on-time and on-budget, and beat two other strong projects for the top prize at the PMINZ Conference in Wellington in 2010.

Sean Whitaker, President of PMINZ said “Each of the awards represents excellence and best practice in the profession of project management and we encourage entries from a wide range of organisations, industries and project management practitioners.”

The 2011 PMINZ Project Management Awards will be presented at a formal dinner at the PMINZ national conference, to be held on 6 July 2011 at the Langham Hotel in Auckland.
