Global Finance Names Andrea Fiano as Editor

NEW YORK, February 3, 2011 – Global Finance Media, Inc. today announced the appointment of Andrea Fiano as editor of Global Finance Magazine and its website GFmag.com.

“Andrea Fiano has been involved with Global Finance since it was launched in 1987,” said Joseph Giarraputo, President and Publisher. “The breadth and depth of Andrea’s experience across a wide range of financial media makes him ideally suited for the editorship.”

Mr. Fiano succeeds Daniel Keeler as editor. Mr. Keeler will continue contributing to Global Finance.

Mr. Fiano, an Italian national, has lived in New York for over 25 years. Until this appointment he was the US correspondent of the Italian financial daily paper MF/Milano Finanza and of the Italian TV channel Class-CNBC. He has a B.A. in sociology and political science, and has done advanced studies at the New School for Social Research and at Wharton. In the past he has written on international finance for Barron’s and has appeared in the McNeil-Lehrer Show on PBS.
