Optimation on Track for Outstanding Year

Optimation on Track for Outstanding Year

Leading ICT services company Optimation is on track to deliver exceptional results this financial year, having recorded 78% revenue growth and a similar increase in staff numbers.

The company marked its breakthrough into the top tier of NZ ICT companies by leading the OHR consortium to win the Department of Corrections outsource contract for Application Development, Maintenance and Support.

“The unique outcomes-based engagement model we developed with HCL and Resultex is delivering significant value for Corrections through its combination of strong NZ-based governance and relationship management with global experience and best practice capacity,” says Neil Butler, Optimation Executive Chairman. To date, the Optimation-led consortium has successfully met all its milestones, including the go-live of a major release of IOMS, the Department’s core system for offender management.

Optimation has also achieved strong growth across all other areas of the business. It has successfully completed substantial application development projects for the Medical Council of New Zealand and Resene Paints; won new business with a diverse range of organisations across the government, utilities and corporate sectors; and leveraged its outcomes-based model to build robust managed services capability.

Martin Butler, who has provided strong leadership as Managing Director, will be leaving Optimation at the end of this financial year. Neil Butler and Martin Butler have worked collaboratively over the last 18 months to cement the company’s future direction around its core services of consultancy, development & integration, testing and support.
