Golden Moment for Kiwi Winery
Royal Easter Show Wine Awards Prove Golden Moment for
Kiwi Winery
Award-winning Kiwi winery Mud House continues to prove itself a standout success, scoring five Gold Awards at the revered Royal Easter Show Wine Awards 2011.
Mud House Wines spun gold with its offerings, with the Mud House 2010 Haymaker Sauvignon Blanc, 2010 South Island Pinot Gris and 2009 Central Otago Pinot Noir all awarded a prestigious Gold at the Awards.
Waipara Hills Central Otago Pinot Noir 2009 and Dusky Sounds Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010 were also both awarded Gold, winning favour with the judges for their immediate appeal and unique characters.
Currently served on Air New Zealand international flights to discerning wine drinkers, the 2010 Haymaker Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing, vibrant drop that reflects Kiwis continued love affair with Sauvignon Blanc.
Mud House Wines marketing manager Cathy Wansink says the company is delighted to have their wines recognised at the Awards.
“The Royal Easter Show Wine Awards celebrate achievement in New Zealand wines and the Gold medals awarded to our wineries really reflect the passion, commitment and hard work demonstrated by our viticulturalists and talented winemakers every day,” she says.
