Simpson Grierson Wins International Client Choice Award

Simpson Grierson Wins International Client Choice Award

4 March 2011: Simpson Grierson has been named the New Zealand winner of the International Law Office's (ILO) annual Client Choice Awards - the third time the firm has won the award since 2005.

The ILO Client Choice Awards are unique in that they only survey senior corporate counsel, with this year's winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments across 49 jurisdictions worldwide.

The awards recognise those law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for their excellent client care and the quality of their service. The criteria for the awards focus on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' business above and beyond other players in the market.

Kevin Jaffe, chairman of Simpson Grierson, said he was proud to receive an award that recognises excellence across the full spectrum of client service.

"Firms and partners are assessed on a wide range of criteria, including quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology."

"The fact that our clients think we are getting it right is very satisfying."

A complete list of winners is available in the ILO Client Choice Guide 2011 and online at www.ClientChoiceAwards.com.
