Media statement: Samsung NZ new appointment announcement
Samsung New Zealand is pleased to announce that Daryn Rickwood, formerly Head of Consumer Electronics and IT Sales, has been promoted to the position of Director of Consumer Electronics and IT Sales.
In this role, Daryn Rickwood continues to be responsible
for the overall sales strategy for Samsung New Zealand’s
TV, audio, digital imaging, whitegoods and IT product
portfolios.
Mr Kim, Samsung New Zealand Country Manager,
says, “Daryn has played a key role in developing the
Samsung business in New Zealand during a period of enormous
growth. We value his leadership and business acumen as we
continue our expansion.”
Mr Rickwood has more than 15 years experience in the technology industry. Before joining Samsung New Zealand in March 2010, he was IPG NZ Country Manager at Hewlett Packard. Prior to this he held senior positions at Microsoft.
