Strong Business Performance For CWT Asia Pacific

CWT Asia Pacific has led the way for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, announcing strong business performance results for 2010.

Of the region’s strength, Martin Warner, CWT Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific says, “CWT Australia and New Zealand continue to grow from strength to strength having realised USD$112m in new business in 2010. Both countries’ continued success has contributed to the delivery of strong results for Asia Pacific and is testament to the teams’ commitment to our customers and finding solutions that meet their needs.”

Key takeouts from 2010’s business performance results include:

· Asia Pacific led the way in transactions, up 27.7% year over year

· Worldwide sales volume (US$24.3 billion) grew by 13.5% compared to 2009

· CWT achieved a 96% client retention rate and won US$1.8 billion in annualised new sales, excluding renewals
