OnePath To Become New Premier Business Partner

OnePath To Become New Premier Business Partner

Award-winning fund manager, OnePath, has signed on as the latest Premier Business Partner of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA).

The arrangement will see OnePath becoming a major sponsor at this year's IFA Conference in Wellington, as well as providing its members on going professional development support.

IFA chief executive Peter Lee says OnePath has always been a consistent supporter of the Institute and its members. "It's great to have that commitment and support continue with today's announcement."

He says the deal has major benefits for Institute members including helping keep conference costs down and providing the opportunity to fund good speakers to the event.

Lee also welcomes OnePath's commitment to the Institute's on going professional development. OnePath will provide access to its international knowledge and expertise. "OnePath's financial and professional support will help us deliver a more focused service to members," he says.

OnePath's Head of Advisory, Funds, Trisha Edmonds says, "We're delighted to continue our commitment to the IFA and develop our relationship with financial advisors through this major sponsorship. OnePath has a long history of supporting the growth and development of financial advisors and we've been actively assisting the IFA's efforts to ensure advisors are recognised as professional practitioners. As an industry association, the institute is a great advocate for high standards, compliance and best practice for all its members and we'll be working with the institute to support their professional development. This sponsorship demonstrates our on going commitment to advisors to partner with them in delivering the best outcomes for their clients. "

Lee says the Institute's Premier/Professional Business Partnership arrangements are more than just sponsorships. "They recognise the significant non-financial contributions that partner can make, and the benefits that brings to members."

The Institute set up its Premier Business partnership programme in early 2010 with Fidelity Life, AXA and Telecom signing as inaugural Partners.
