Datacraft Integral Axon achieves Platinum Partnership

Datacraft Integral Axon first to achieve Platinum Partnership with HP’s Enterprise Storage, Server And Networking Business Channel

New Zealand, 2 May 2011 – Datacraft Integral Axon, soon to be rebranded as Dimension Data, has been recognised as Hewlett-Packard New Zealand’s first strategic Platinum Partner for the Enterprise Storage, Server and Networking business channel.

The PartnerONE Program focuses on helping HP’s partners develop new business opportunities and increase return on investment. This announcement sees Datacraft Integral Axon enjoying the highest level for HP’s partners within the Enterprise Storage, Servers and Networking business channel.

Simon Goode, GM Supply Chain and Alliances for Datacraft Integral Axon says he is extremely pleased that HP is investing significantly in this program and Goode expects that the partners who meet the eligibility requirements and targets will receive significant benefits as a result.

“We feel privileged to be the first New Zealand business to receive platinum partnership status with HP,” Goode says. “We consider this as recognition of the combined capability and professional approach of our newly merged organisation.”
“We have always endeavoured to demonstrate professionalism and provide the best solutions to our customers and this commitment to quality helped us build competency in selling and delivering HP’s solutions.”

In order to qualify as a Platinum Partner, Datacraft developed and certified staff to meet a prescribed number of sales, pre-sales and integration competencies from the four main HP enterprise infrastructure pillars of: Converged Infrastructure, Servers, and Storage and Networking.
In November 2010, Datacraft New Zealand completed the acquisition to Integral Axon. It now has more than 600 staff distributed across four centres – Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.
