More Advisers for Mortgage Link

Mortgage Link, the national mortgage advisory group, is pleased to announce two new advisers have joined existing businesses in Otago and in the Wairarapa.

Beth Aporo has joined Mortgage Link Wairarapa, based in Masterton. Beth has previously been supporting Stephen Oldfield (Business Owner) and Sharon Kent (Registered Financial Adviser) for three years so is well known to their existing client base. Beth is completing the Mortgage Link accreditation process to undertake client advice, and has registered in accordance with new regulatory requirements.

Mortgage Link Otago has appointed Penelope Jaggar to join their existing team of Jill Clearwater, Glenda French and Michael Walters. Like Beth, Penelope is completing the Mortgage Link accreditation and has registered as an RFA. Penelope has a background in sales and real estate and will be developing her own networks under the Mortgage Link Otago brand.

Rod Templeton (Chief Executive) said “Our license structure is all about our business owners planning and expanding – the new appointments in Masterton and Dunedin reflect this and we congratulate our business owners for the investments they are making”.

Mortgage Link is working on new strategies for its business owners, given the challenges and opportunities arising from the current environment, including regulation. Rod said “Our National Conference in Queenstown in later May is an important date in our calendar. This year we are excited about our new initiatives for meeting our clients insurance needs and also increasing all our advisers competency standards. It is also a great time to be welcoming the new members to the Mortgage Link teams”.
