StaynFront brings extensive FMCG expertise to support fieldforce performance.
Sydney, 23 May 2011. StayinFront, Inc., a leading global provider of CRM and decision support solutions, today announced L’Oréal Australia’s Consumer Division has implemented StayinFront Consumer Goods 12, a solution that includes the deployment of a mobile platform for merchandisers and StayinFront Analytics for the head office.
L'Oréal, the globally recognised cosmetics manufacturer, is a highly respected company in the Australian marketplace. Within the Consumer Division products, such as L’Oréal, Garnier and Maybelline, which are available through retail grocery, variety and specialty chains such as Coles, Woolworths and Priceline.
The L'Oréal Consumer Division is characterised by an extensive product range across eight categories with over 110 merchandisers who are nationally responsible for the in-store execution of L’Oréal’s consumer products.
With an established and highly successful sales management process already in place, L’Oreal set out to identify an out-of-the-box field automation solution with sufficient flexibility to support current and future business processes.
L’Oréal selected the StayinFront Consumer Goods 12 solution on the basis that for merchandisers, the new StayinFront functionality could be configured to mirror current processes and was very intuitive. Also for administrators; the difficult task of managing cluster ranging for the national chains is simplified ensuring targeted, relevant information is made available to the merchandiser during their store visit.
Brian Trim, L’Oréal Australia’s Consumer Division’s National Field Manager, said: “As a FMCG operation in a highly competitive marketplace, we need to demonstrate a quick ROI. We were looking for a vendor with extensive experience working with businesses like ours, one that understands the issues of running a complex merchandising enterprise With StayinFront we found a solution that is not only quickly up and running in the field, but one that will keep pace with the dynamic nature of our industry. StayinFront also provides local support as well as training for our IT and merchandising teams.”
Kerrie-Anne Turner, StayinFront’s APAC Vice President and Managing Director Australia, said: “We are excited to be working with L’Oréal in their drive to retain its hard won, market leading position in the Australian FMCG sector.
