The company saw record sales during April largely because of the event

Lochiel Trailers experienced record sales during the South Island Agricultural Field Days in April, a company spokesperson announced. The event brought together industry professionals and helped Lochiel Trailers reach an expanded customer base.

The Southland company manufactures a wide-variety of trailers for sale and had the opportunity to introduce their line to the South Island Agricultural Field Day audience.

The South Island Agricultural Field Day is a non-profit organization and a sub-committee of the Christchurch District Young Farmers Club. Every other year the committee organizes an exhibition for the rural community to provide a venue where machinery and other services can be demonstrated to the rural community. The event is an interface between the agricultural service industry and its clients and Lochiel Trailers had plenty of opportunity to do both.
