Net Hui webcasts on Ziln

24/06/2011.

Ziln to carry Livestream feeds from Net Hui www.nethui.org.nz June 29th to July 1st at the Sky City Convention Centre in Auckland

“It's great our audience will have the opportunity to access the multiple live video feeds provided by R2 http://www.r2.co.nz/about.htm that will be streaming from Net Hui over multiple days, we are taking what would traditionally be seen as special interest TV content and putting it in front of a larger audience which opens up a whole raft of new live TV content opportunities when you think about it.” says Paul Brennan, GM of Ziln.

Viewing the Net Hui streams via Ziln will be like viewing any other Ziln channel and following the event our VOD platform will take over with archived highlights. Live streams from Net Hui are not included in unmetering of Ziln to TelstraClear customers.

“I've got a feeling this could be the start of an eventual avalanche of widely distributed live video streaming from locations and events large and small all the time and with UFB on the way it will be so doable....” Mr Brennan said.

www.ziln.co.nz is New Zealand's first Internet TV network launched on September 1st 2009. Now streaming 100s of hours of video per day with tens of thousands of visits per month. Nearly 2000 NZ themed videos on-line and growing every day.

Ziln operates up to HD quality video streaming on all Internet connected devices from iPhone and iPad through to lounge screen TVs with 23 channels currently on-line.
