Prices Fall At BP Pumps

BP has dropped the price of petrol and diesel today.

Petrol prices at most BP-owned service stations are:
91 Unleaded $ 205.9 cents per litre
95 Unleaded $ 213.9 cents per litre
BP Ultimate 98 $ 221.9 cents per litre
Diesel $ 145.9 cents per litre
BP Ultimate Diesel $ 146.9 cents per litre

BP Managing Director Mike McGuinness said BP monitored costs daily and was pleased to be able to pass on savings to its customers.

“The cost of refined fuel has eased. We're pleased to pass on this welcome relief to motorists.”

There are over 100 independently-owned BP service stations in New Zealand. They buy their fuel off BP at a wholesale price and by law must set their own pump prices.
