Prices Reduced During RWC 2011 to Give Visitors Even More of a “Perfect Welcome”
Among all the stories of hospitality businesses raising prices for visitors during the Rugby World Cup one company is bucking the trend by offering a discount off their normal rates.
Not only have they not increased their prices, they are offering a 10% discount for bookings for September and October.
Mark Hockley, owner of “The Perfect Welcome” says he wants visitors to New Zealand to get the best possible first impression of the country, the people and the hospitality we are well known for.
“We all have a responsibility to be fantastic hosts to our visitors and part of that is giving great service at a great price to make sure they go home and tell everyone how much they enjoyed their time here.
There will be a lot of extra business so I feel I should show some appreciation to those fans who have come all this way”
Perfect Welcome is a new transfer and tour company with a focus on exemplary personal service. The staff are guides and hosts, not just a transport option.
The motto is “it’s like having a friend in town, to pick you up and show you around”.
Mark Hockley says “When travelling, our first experience with locals, outside of the airport, is usually on the way to the hotel.
In the past not many of us can say this was a highlight or a particularly enjoyable part of our travels… we aim to change that with our Perfect Welcome Transfer Tour.
From a friendly welcome inside the airport we take our guests on an introduction and orientation tour on the way into the city: Cornwall Park, Mt Eden, Parnell, Newmarket, Auckland Domain, the waterfront and the central city, so they have had a wonderful experience before they even reach their hotel.
And if our visitors are happy and impressed right from the start then that will have benefits for everyone during their stay”.
