The Awards Continue To Flow

The annual Korea Wine Challenge 2011 has announced the winners, awarding the Saint Clair Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2010 the Best White Wine Trophy.

2011 saw a total of 407 wines from 14 different countries, judged by 26 wine specialist judges including four international judges, making it a truly international affair. The number of wine entries is increasing year after year, reflecting growing interest in this renowned competition, despite the economic downturn.

This news came at the same time as gold medal winners were announced from the inaugural Spiegelau International Wine Competition 2011. 12 judges from New Zealand and Australia evaluated over 1100 entries at the Marlborough Convention Centre last week.

Saint Clair Family Estate has been awarded four gold medals;

Saint Clair Pioneer Block 18 Snap Block Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Trophy winners will be announced at the awards dinner in Auckland on the 8th July 2011.
