Customer Satisfaction Ratings Business Launched

New Zealanders will now be able to easily access customer satisfaction ratings on a wide range of products and services, following the launch today of Canstar Blue.

The new service is the brainchild of financial research and ratings company CANSTAR CANNEX which has been operating in New Zealand for nearly a decade.

CANSTAR CANNEX – New Zealand National Manager, Derek Bonnar, said “Canstar Blue uses independent professional market research to rate customer satisfaction of a wide range of products and services from flat screen televisions through to heat pumps.

“Canstar Blue will help consumers make more informed buying choices,” Derek said.

“True to its tagline – ‘By Consumers for Consumers’ - Canstar Blue provides researched information from New Zealanders. Consumers will undoubtedly be more confident about purchasing products and services if other Kiwis rate them highly.”

The first release of Canstar Blue customer satisfaction ratings include: banks, mobile phone carriers, flat screen TVs, heat pumps and travel bookings.

Canstar Blue plans to regularly release new research categories, based on consumer feedback.

“Around 2,500 New Zealand consumers are canvassed to obtain the data,” Derek said.

“The information is then collated into ratings that are meaningful and easy to understand for consumers. Results will be available online at www.canstarblue.co.nz Access to the information is free of charge and new information will be regularly added to the website as new categories are released.”

CANSTAR CANNEX has been operating in New Zealand for nearly a decade. Its flagship product is its five star ratings research which compares and rates financial products such as credit cards, rewards programs, home loans and deposit and transactional accounts. CANSTAR CANNEX research also underpins the annual Sunday Star Times Bank of the Year Awards which are due to be announced later in the year.
