Top Microsoft consultant to join Information Leadership

Knowledge and information management specialists Information Leadership are pleased to welcome veteran Microsoft consultant and Sharepoint expert Ian Morrish as a Senior Solutions Consultant in their Wellington team. Mr Morrish has extensive industry and technical experience and will continue to develop Information Leadership’s successful iWorkplace platform.

Mr Morrish is the author of highly influential Sharepoint blog, (www.wssdemo.com), and joins Information Leadership following ten years with Microsoft as a consultant where he focused on collaboration and knowledge management systems implementation. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr Morrish held roles at Glazier Systems (now Intergen) as a consultant and as Microsoft Regional Director.

Information Leadership co-founder Sarah Heal is delighted to have Mr Morrish joining the team.

“The addition of someone of Ian’s calibre is an endorsement of Information Leadership’s work to date and our business model. Ian will add to our technical capability and will provide added depth to our existing research and development programme, including expanding iWorkplace and enabling continued integration with other Microsoft products such as Reporting Services and InfoPath,” she says. Mr Morrish is a Sharepoint Insider and has Sharepoint Elite and Business Value Planning Services certification.

Wholly New Zealand owned, Information Leadership was founded in 2004 and has rapidly established itself as a market leader in knowledge and information management solutions. It works with private and public sector clients across the economy and is the first information management specialist to commoditise a solution to Public Records Act compliance. In the past two years over 35 public agencies have based their compliance plans on Information Leadership’s best practice approach.
