Empower Expands In Western Australia

Christchurch, 12 July 2011 - Empower Masterpay Pty Ltd, Jade Software's wholly owned subsidiary delivering integrated, intelligent people management software and services, today announced it was stepping up its focus on the Western Australian market.

With a successful track record spanning over 25 years, Empower services more than 160 clients throughout Australasia, including many household names in the corporate, manufacturing and distribution, financial and government sectors. Together with its New Zealand operation and sister product Jade Star; Empower delivers HR and payroll software, systems management and outsourced pay office services to over 450,000 employees.

Empower was previously represented in WA by distributor Management Information Systems (WA) Pty Ltd, says Karen Dale, Managing Director, Empower.

"We are excited about the opportunity to expand our operations into WA. The addition of these customers, the intellectual property developed by MIS and the experience and expertise of the staff will position Empower well for future expansion as we seek to secure significant growth."

The introduction of MIS customers into Empower will see a tighter integration between Empower and MIS developed software and a greater focus on adding value through the complementary software modules developed by MIS, says Dale.

"We are pleased to welcome this team to Empower.

"While there has been a change in ownership, what hasn't changed is our commitment to providing our customers with the very best in solutions and service. In that respect, it's business as usual.

"The WA team, coupled with the rest of our 50-strong company, will continue to focus on the design, integration and delivery of ingenious people solutions.

"With an expanded Australian presence, Empower intends to continue to drive growth through increased market share, as well as the sale of an expanded range of complementary products and services" says Dale.
