ZM Releases First NZ Radio Android App

ZM has just released the first Android radio app of its kind making it both a New Zealand and world first.

ZM Android app users will receive up to the minute gossip, the latest picture galleries, on-demand weather and traffic updates, ZM show podcasts, ZMTV video content as well as listen to ZM live, all from the convenience of their Android device.

“It’s important we can engage with our audience and deliver content to them in as many formats as they demand. The Android app is yet another platform to achieve this.” said Christian Boston, ZM content director.

The Android app is following in the footsteps of ZM’s iPhone app which reached the number one spot on the App Store timely with its release. The Android app has already placed number 26 on the Android Market chart after just four days being released and has an average user rating of 4.1.

Mr Boston also says, “We think it will continue to move up the chart as the response from users is fantastic. We see the app making a great impact on TRN’s rapidly growing digital audience.”

ZM’s Android app was released thanks to the help of launch sponsor EasyShop.

Download the ZM app now and see what everyone’s talking about. It’s available on the App Store and Android Market now.
