Restaurant Brands New Zealand Completes Successful Rollout of MICROS Enterprise Solution

Auckland, July 21, 2011 - MICROS Systems, Inc. [http://www.micros.com ] (NASDAQ: MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is pleased to announce that Restaurant Brands New Zealand Limited has completed the successful rollout of MICROS in all of its 98 Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) stores. The implementation included MICROS Restaurant Enterprise Series Point of Sale (POS), Forecasting, Labor Management, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), mymicros.net Business Intelligence and myinventory Stock Control. Complementing the 82 Pizza Hut outlets already operating with MICROS, this enterprise solution has resulted in more efficient service and improved outlet forecasting within only a few months of operation.

A New Zealand operator of three world famous brands, KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks Coffee, Restaurant Brands employs over 4,500 people to ensure the total experience delivered to over 60,000 customers daily remains as distinguished as the products themselves. "We strive to deliver not only a quality product, but also memorable service in comfortable environments," stated Geoff Holton, Commercial Manager IT of Restaurant Brands. "The implementation of MICROS throughout our KFC stores has improved our overall operational efficiencies, allowing us to spend more time focusing on our customers."
