CPA Australia appoints NZ Business Development Manager

CPA Australia appoints New Zealand Business Development Manager

Auckland, 25 July 2011 – CPA Australia announced today that it has appointed Rick Jones as its New Zealand Business Development Manager.

CPA Australia is the global professional accountancy designation for strategic business leaders New Zealand members of CPA Australia contribute to a worldwide membership of over 132,000.

Jones’ new role will involve managing CPA Australia’s business development strategies and developing key relationships with CPA stakeholders and professional associations. He will also work to expand the membership base for CPA Australia in New Zealand by managing all aspects of sales and marketing for the business.

CPA Australia New Zealand Country Manager, David Jenkins said: “CPA Australia is working toward a vision of being the best member organisation in the world. Rick has achieved great things in the past, so we are very excited to have him join the team.”

Jones has previously worked for Professional Pathways Australia as the Sydney Manager and as a Business Development Manager for 1st Contact Ltd in London.

“It is a privilege to work for CPA Australia,” says Jones, “I am really looking forward to connecting the New Zealand business community to CPA Australia with a range of new and exciting development ideas.”
