Southern Cross appoints new National Sales Manager for Advisers
Margaret Smith has been appointed to the position of National Sales Manager - Advisers at Southern Cross Health Society. The not-for-profit Society is New Zealand's largest health insurer with 835,000 members.
With over 32 years experience in financial services, Margaret has worked at a senior level for large organisations such as BNZ and, for the last seven years, AMP. During this time she worked closely with Southern Cross in her role as Manager, Strategic Alliances.
Southern Cross Health Society chief executive Peter Tynan said, "Margaret's understanding and knowledge of the market, combined with her existing relationships, will ensure our adviser network continues to receive a high level of service. Advisers will also benefit from a fresh perspective on how we can better assist them to reach their business goals."
Margaret will begin her role at Southern Cross on 22 August 2011.
