Two Weeks Left To Nominate That Amazing Woman!

Two Weeks Left To Nominate That Amazing Woman!

August 8, 2011

Time is running out! Entries for NEXT Woman Of The Year close August 15, 2011.

NEXT Woman Of The Year - now in its second year - is the first award of its kind to celebrate the achievements of New Zealand women. Women can be nominated or enter themselves into one of five categories: Arts & Culture, Business, Community, Health & Science and Sport.

New NEXT magazine editor, Sarah Henry, has been amazed by the calibre of women who have already entered but is looking forward to seeing more.

“We have had some phenomenal applications from women all across the country,” says Henry. “But there are many more out there. New Zealand women aren’t good at celebrating their success and they deserve some recognition.

“The NEXT Woman Of The Year is going to be an aspirational woman who has clearly stood out in her field, and is an inspiration for others.”

The judges this year include NEXT Editor Sarah Henry, Dame Catherine Tizard and Dr Gareth Morgan.

Entries to NEXT Woman Of The Year are still open. For information or for an application form, visit www.acpmedia.co.nz/next.
