Cult Beer Bar Becomes Training Facility for Visitors

For Immediate Release:
Cult Beer Bar Becomes Training Facility for Visitors

Wellington’s Hashigo Zake will launch a programme of beer tasting and education for the benefit of international visitors next month. Every day from September 10th to October 10th the bar will host tasting sessions under the title “An Introduction to New Zealand Craft Beer”.

With new bars appearing almost weekly that are defying the control of the big brewery duopoly and new breweries supplying them, the range of New Zealand craft beer available to visitors is suddenly vast. Hashigo Zake believes that a sociable and informative introduction to New Zealand’s emerging breweries and beer styles will be a welcome addition to visitors’ schedules.

The Introduction to New Zealand Craft Beer will take place on the premises of Hashigo Zake, 25 Taranaki St, Wellington every day at 3pm. A charge of $25 will cover the costs of samples, printed material and the guidance of one of Hashigo Zake’s highly regarded bar staff.

ENDS.
