Eventfinder
Launches Australian Event Marketing and Ticketing
Platform
Eventfinder is pleased to announce its expansion into the Australian market with the launch of www.eventfinder.com.au. Eventfinder is the world's only integrated event marketing, syndication and ticking platform.
"The site has far exceeded initial expectations. After only two weeks we've listed over 4,000 events nationally across Australia" said Eventfinder's chief executive, Michael Turner.
"It only took 10 days for the site to attract more than 1,500 visitors a day. That's extraordinary considering we haven't done any marketing yet".
While many applications service a small part of this market, the Eventfinder Platform is the world's only integrated marketing, syndication and ticketing platform. Eventfinder allows event promoters, organizers, venues and artists to list and manage their own event information for free, while the company makes money from premium placement, newsletter marketing and ticketing services.
Eventfinder is a nationwide service, including regional Australia as well as the major metropolitan areas, and covers the full spectrum of events, from major concerts, sports, festivals and theatre to pub gigs.
The platform enables promoters and venues to sell tickets online without giving up control over customer relationships, providing completely transparent financial reporting, and removing the industry practice of charging exorbitant transaction fees, delivery or convenience charges to end consumers.
The company has successfully completed five funding rounds over five years, and is looking to gain traction in Australia before launching in the United States and South-East Asia.
